オンシジウム・マクラツム [Index] [Back] メキシコから中央アメリカが原産です。着生植物で、開けた乾燥した森や落葉性熱帯林などに生え、高さは３８センチくらいになります。偽球茎は卵形で、先端から長楕円状線形の革質の葉を２〜３個つけます。冬の終わりから早春に、緑がかった黄色で濃い赤斑のある花を咲かせます。花は長く咲き続け、芳香があります。  ラン科オンシジウム属の常緑多年草で、学名は Oncidium maculatum。英名は Dancing lady orchid。  Dancing lady orchid (Oncidium maculatum) belongs to Orchidaceae (the Orchid family). It is an evergreen herb that is native from Mexico to Central America. This orchid is a epiphyte, and grows in open dry forests, deciduous tropical forests, and can reach up to 38 cm in height. The pseudobulb is ovate and bears 2-3 apical, oblong-linear and coriaceous leaves. The greenish-yellow with dark red spots flowers bloom in late winter and early spring.
