The Well-fed lepidella (Amanita perpasta) belongs to Amanitaceae (the Amanita family). It is a fungus that is distributed in Japan, East Asia, North America, and Australia. It is a large mushroom that rarely grows on the forest floor of broadleaf trees. The pileus is pale yellowish brown and grows to about 15 cm in size. The stalk is thick and club-shaped at the bottom, and develops a large vertical crack as it grows.
