The Golden drop (Onosma rigida) belongs to Boraginaceae (the Borage family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed in the eastern part of Europe, the Ukraine. It grows in rocky, gravelly meadows and grows to a height of about 25 cm. The basal leaves are narrowly spatulate and form rosettes, and the cauline leaves are broadly linear. From April to June, the flower stalks extend to form scorpioid cymes that produce bright yellow tubular flowers.
