おおひえんそう (大飛燕草)

中国北部からモンゴル、シベリアが原産です。草原や潅木帯に生え、高さは１５〜６０センチになります。葉は掌状に羽状深裂し、互生します。裂片は線状披針形から狭線形です。夏に総状花序をだし、青紫色から青色の花を咲かせます。花弁のように見えるのは萼片で、錐状の距があります。園芸品種も数多く作出され、シネンシス系と分類されています。また園芸品種では距のないものもあります。別名で「おおばなひえんそう（大花飛燕草）」、「デルフィニウム・グランディフロルム」とも呼ばれます。 写真上・中１は、「パシフィックジャイアント（cv. キンポウゲ科ヒエンソウ属の多年草で、学名は Delphinium grandiflorum（syn. Delphinium chinense）。英名は Dwarf Chinese delphinium。 |

The dwarf Chinese delphinium (Delphinium grandiflorum) belongs to Ranunculaceae (the Buttercup family). It is a perennial herb that is native from northern China to Mongol and Siberia. This herb grows in grasslands or shrublands and can reach 15-60 cm in height. The leaves are divided into fronds deep pinnately, and the fronds are linear lanceolate to narrow linear. The bluish purple to blue flowers come in the racemes in summer. The sepals look like petals with the subulate spurs. They have many cultivars and called "Sinensis breeds". |
