"Oo-iwa-hitode" (Colysis pothifolia) belongs to the family Polypodiaceae. It is an evergreen perennial herb that is distributed from Shikoku to Kyushu in Japan, Taiwan, the Korean Peninsula, China, and East Asia. It grows in forests in mountainous areas. The leaves are 80 cm long and have a single pinnate compound leaf. It is similar to the "Iwa-hitode", but it is larger and has more pinnae.
