わが国の本州、静岡県以南から東南アジア、オーストラリアそれにアフリカやアメリカにも分布しています。水中に浮遊したり、浅い水底で生活します。葉は糸状で、わずかに捕虫嚢があります。小さな食虫植物です。夏に花茎を伸ばして、黄色い花を咲かせます。 |

The Bladderwort (Utricularia gibba) belongs to Lentibulariaceae (the Bladderwort family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed from Shizuoka Prefecture of Honshu, Japan to Southeast Asia, Australia, Africa, and the United States. It is found floating in the water or living on shallow water bottoms. The leaves are filamentous and have a few insect sacs. It is a small insectivorous plant. In summer, it grows flower stalks and produces yellow flowers. |
