トルコの北部と西部に分布しています。主に温帯バイオームに生育します。葉は長さ１２センチまで、幅２ミリほどの線形で、上面に白い線があります。非常に短い花茎の上に散形状の総状花序をだし、３～６個の花を咲かせます。花被片は１２ミリほどで、内側は白色、外側は白色で緑色の筋があります。果柄は弧状に広がり、蒴果には翼がありません。

ユリ科オーニソガラム属の多年草で、学名は Ornithogalum nivale。英名はありません。

The Ornithogalum nivale belongs to Liliaceae (the Lily family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed in northern and western Turkey. It grows mainly in temperate biomes. The leaves are linear, up to 12 cm long and 2 mm wide, with a white line on the upper surface. It produces a corymbose raceme on a very short flower stalk with 3 to 6 flowers. The perianth is about 12 mm long and white on the inside and white with green streaks on the outside. The pedicel is arcuate, and the capsule has no wings.
