"Ottachi-kangigu" (Dendranthema indicum var. maruyamanum) belongs to Asteraceae (the Aster family). It is a perennial herb that is found in Tachikuekyo, Ottachi-cho, Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture, in Honshu, Japan. It is a variety of "Shima-kangiku" with small leaves and three lobes, and produces yellow ray floret flower heads from October to December.
