Aurescens。
"Ougon-kyaraboku" (Taxus cuspidata var. nana cv. Aurescens) belongs to Taxaceae (the Yew family). It is a small evergreen tree that is a horticultural variety of the "Dwarf Japanese yew", which is distributed from the Chokai Mountains in Tohoku district of Honshu west to the Sea of Japan side of the Chugoku Mountains in Japan. It is even more dwarf than the "Dwarf Japanese yew" and grows to about 1 m in height. The branches tend to spread horizontally, giving the tree a hemispherical shape. The linear leaves have pointed tips. In spring, the new leaves turn golden. It is also known as "Kin-kyara".
