種小名によれば、中国の雲南省が原産のようです。矮性で奇数羽状複葉、小葉は卵形をしています。夏に淡いラベンダーピンクの花を咲かせます。詳細な情報は見あたりませんでした。なお、中国植物志（Flora of China）によれば、中国のチダケサシ属には７種と変種３種が存在することのことです。このなかにアスチルベ・ユンナエンシスが存在しないので、本種はアスチルベ・キネンシスの園芸由来品種かもしれません。

ユキノシタ科チダケサシ属の多年草で、学名は Astilbe yunnanensis (syn. Astilbe yunnanense)。英名はありません。

The Astilbe yunnanensis belongs to Saxifragaceae (the Saxifrage family). It is a perennial herb. According to the specific epithet, it appears to be native to Yunnan Province, China. It is dwarf with odd pinnate compound leaves and ovate leaflets. Pale lavender-pink flowers bloom in summer. I could not find any detailed information. According to the Flora of China, there are seven species and three varieties in the genus Astilbe in China. Since Astilbe yunnanensis does not exist among them, this species may be a horticultural origin of Astilbe chinensis.
