うらべにいわひばもどき (裏紅岩檜葉擬き) [Index] [Back] 中央アメリカから南アメリカに分布しています。主茎は地上を這い、側枝は斜上して、高さは７〜１０センチになります。葉状体の裏面が、紅紫色をしているのが特徴です。 イワヒバ科イワヒバ属の常緑性シダ類で、学名は Selaginella umbrosa。英名は Red spikemoss。 The red spikemoss (Selaginella umbrosa) belongs to Selaginellaceae (the Spike-moss family). It is an evergreen moss that is distributed from Central America to South America. Main stems are creeping, side branches extend side-upward and can reach 7-10 cm in height.
