ウィグイエラ・コルディフォリア [Index] [Back] アメリカの南西部、アリゾナ州からニューメキシコ州、テキサス州それにメキシコに分布しています。乾燥した斜面や渓谷、大部分はマツ林や石灰岩土壌に生え、高さは５０〜１００センチになります。葉は対生または互生し、卵形から三角状卵形、披針状卵状で、縁には鋸歯や細鋸歯があります。７月から９月ごろ、黄色い頭花を咲かせます。頭花は６〜８個の舌状花と４０個以上の中心花からなります。 キク科ウィグイエラ属の多年草で、学名は Viguiera cordifolia。英名は Heartleaf goldeneye。 The Heartleaf goldeneye (Viguiera cordifolia) belongs to Asteraceae (the Aster family). It is a perennial herb that is native to the south-western United States; Arizona, New Mexico and Texas, and Mexico. This herb grows on dry slopes and canyons, mostly pine forests and limestone soils, and it can reach 50-100 cm in height. The leaves are opposite or alternate, ovate to deltate-ovate or lance-ovate with serrate or serrulate margins. The yellow flower-heads bloom from July to September.
