バンブーサ・バルコーア [Index] [Back] インドシナ半島やインド亜大陸が原産です。桿は肉厚で、株立ちまたは仮軸分岐して広がります。高さは２５メートル、厚さは１５センチほどになります。これは乾燥に耐性のある種類で、低い降雨しか要求しません。  イネ科ホウライチク属のタケ類で、学名は Bambusa balcooa。英名はありません。  Bambusa balcooa is belongs to Poaceae (the Grass family). It is an evergreen bamboo that is native to Indochina and the Indian subcontinent. This bamboo is thick walled, and spreads by clumping or sympodial branching. It can grow up to a height of 25 m, and a thickness of 15 cm.
