The Begonia venosa belongs to Begoniaceae (the Begonia family). It is an evergreen herb that is native to Brazil. This herb likes a bright location with some direct sun, and grows up to a height of 60-90 cm. The leaves are altrnate, thick, reniform, leathery leaves are covered with fine white hairs. The fragrant white flowers bloom in the racemes from August to March. They will bloom year-round if the temperature keeps comfortable.
