The Mock bodh tree (Ficus rumphii) belongs to Moraceae (the Mulberry family). It is a tall evergreen tree that is distributed from Yunnan Province in China to India, the Indochina Peninsula, and Indonesia. It resembles the "Bo tree" and is planted in parks and along roadsides. It has heart-shaped, alternate leaves, and from May to September, it produces spherical syconiums with flowers inside. It differs from the "Bo tree" in that the tips of its leaves are pointed rather than caudate. In Chinese, it is called "心葉榕 (xin ye rong).
