オーストラリアの南東部に分布しています。亜高山帯から高山帯の荒れ地に生え、高さは６０センチくらいになります。葉は５〜７個の線形の小葉からなり、強い香りがあります。十字形の淡いピンクの花を咲かせます。写真は園芸品種の「ローズブロッサム（cv. Rose Blossom）」で、八重咲きです。

ミカン科ボロニア属の常緑小低木で、学名は Boronia pilosa。英名はありません。

The Boronia pilosa belongs to Rutaceae (the Citrus family). It is an evergreen shrub that is distributed in southeastern Australia. It grows in subalpine to alpine wastelands and is about 60 cm tall. The leaves are composed of 5 to 7 linear lobes and have a strong fragrance. It produces cross-shaped, pale pink flowers. The photo shows the garden variety "Rose Blossom", which has double flowers.
