ブラサボラ属（Brassavola）とカトレア属（Cattleya）との属間交配種です。写真は「ビノサ（Bc. Binosa）」。「ノドサ（Brassavola nodosa）」と「ビコロル（Cattleya bicolor）」との交配種で１９５０年に作出されました。萼片と花弁は黄緑色で、唇弁は白地に赤紫色の斑点が入ります。

ラン科ブラッソカトレア属の常緑多年草で、学名は Brassocattleya（属の総称）。英名はありません。

Brassocattleya belongs to Orchidaceae (the Orchid family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is a intergeneric hybrid between Brassavola genus and Cattleya genus. The photos are a cultivar "Bc. Binosa" that is a hybrid between Brassavola nodosa and Cattleya bicolor, breeded in 1950. The sepals and tepals are yellowish-green and the lips are wihte with magenta mottles.
