熱帯・亜熱帯アメリカに分布するウェルコーサ種（Brassia verrucosa）とカウダータ種（Brassia caudata）との種間交雑種です。球茎は扁卵形で、長楕円状披針形の葉を２個つけます。春から秋ごろ、長い花茎を弓なりに伸ばして、淡黄色の花を咲かせます。紫褐色の小さな斑が入ります。花には甘い柑橘系の芳香があります。写真は園芸品種の「クースベイ（cv. Coos Bay）」。

ラン科ブラッシア属の常緑多年草で、学名は Brassia datacosa cv. Coos Bay。英名はありません。

Brassia datacosa belongs to Orchidaceae (the Orchid family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is a crossbred between Brassia verrucosa and Brassia caudata. The corms are compressed ovate and come into 2 oblong-lanceolate leaves. Pale yellow flowers with purplish brown speckles come on the long arching inflorescences from spring to fall. The flowers have sweet citrus fragrance. The photos are cultivars 'Coos Bay'.
