ブロンズフェンネル [Index] [Back] 「ういきょう（茴香）」の栽培品種です。高さは１．５〜２．１メートルになります。葉は銅緑色で羽毛状です。８月から１０月ごろ、大きな複散形花序をだし、小さな黄色い花を咲かせます。葉や種子は、魚料理や豚肉料理、サラダなどに利用されます。 セリ科ウイキョウ属の多年草で、学名は Foeniculum vulgare cv. Rubrum。英名は Bronze fennel。 The Bronze fennel (Foeniculum vulgare cv. Rubrum) belongs to Apiaceae (the Carrot family). It is a perennial herb that is a cultivar of fennel (Foeniculum vulgare). This herb can reach 1.5-2.1 m in height. The leaves are bronzy-green and feathery. The large compound umbels are borne and bloom tiny yellow flowers from August to October.
