フィリピンに分布しています。雨林の林内に生え、樹木や岩上に着生します。球茎は卵形で匍匐して連なり、長さ３０〜３５センチの葉が１個つきます。一年を通して、５０センチほどの長い花茎を伸ばし、蝋質で黄色い花を咲かせます。唇弁は黒褐色で、揺れ動きます。

ラン科ブルボフィルム属の常緑多年草で、学名は Bulbophyllum carunculatum。英名はありません。

The Bulbophyllum carunculatum belongs to Orchidaceae (the Orchid family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is distributed in the Philippines. It grows in rainforests and attaches itself to trees and rocks. The bulbs are ovoid and creeping, with a single 30-35 cm long leaf. Throughout the year, it grows a long flower stalk about 50 cm long and produces waxy, yellow flowers. The lip is blackish brown and wagging.
