ニューギニア島やスマトラ島に分布しています。樹木や岩に着生し、球茎は卵形で長楕円形の大きな葉がつきます。春に、鳥のくちばしのような赤褐色の花を咲かせます。花には強い芳香があります。 |

ラン科ブルボフィルム属の常緑多年草で、学名は Bulbophyllum hashimotoi。英名はありません。 |

Bulbophyllum hashimotoi belongs to Orchidaceae (the Orchid family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is native to New Gunea and Sumatra. This herb is an epiphyte on the trees and rocks. The corms are ovate and come into large oblong leaves. The flowers are beak-like, reddish brown with strong odor and come in spring. |
