「バウアーマンダリン」（「ぽんかん」と「タンジェロ」との交配種）と「テンプルタンゴール」（たぶん「ぽんかん」と「オレンジ」との交配種）との交配種です。この品種は、１９８７年にオーランドの米国農業園芸局からリリースされました。遺伝子構成は、5/8タンジェリン、1/4オレンジ、1/8グレープフルーツになります。品種としては「タンジェリン」のようなもので、マーケティング用に分類されています。果実はかなり大きく、通常直径は７〜８センチです。果実は晩秋または初冬、深みのある赤みがかったオレンジ色に熟します。

The Fallglo tangerine (Citrus cv. Fallglo) belongs to Rutaceae (the Citrus family). It is a small evergreen tree that is a hybrid between Bower mandarin (a tangerine x tangelo hybrid) and Temple tangor (probably a tangerine x orange hybrid). It was released in the United States Department of Agriculture Horticultural Station in Orlando 1987. The genetic makeup would then be 5/8 tangerine, 1/4 orange and 1/8 grapefruit. The variety is most like a tangerine and has been classified as such for marketing. The fruit is fairly large and are usually 7-8 cm in diameter. The fruit ripens deep reddish orange in late fall or early winter.
