フライハニーサックル [Index] [Back] ヨーロッパが原産です。標高１８００メートル以下にある、ふつう石灰岩地の林や茂みに生えます。葉はほぼ円形か卵形、灰緑色で対生し、両面が毛に被われます。５月から６月ごろ、黄白色で２唇のある花を、２個ずつ咲かせます。果実は液果で、鮮やかな赤色に熟します。 スイカズラ科スイカズラ属の落葉小低木で、学名は Lonicera xylosteum。英名は Fly honeysuckle。 The fly honeysuckle (Lonicera xylosteum) belongs to Caprifoliaceae (the Honeysuckle family). It is a deciduous shrub that is native to Europe. This shrub grows in woods and scrubs, generally on limestone and to 1800 m elevation. The leaves are almost round or ovate, gray-green, opposite, and hairy above and beneath. The flowers are yellowish-white, two-lipped, arranged in pairs and bloom from May to June.
