フレンチタイム [Index] [Back] 地中海沿岸が原産の「コモンタイム」の選抜種です。これもまた代表的な料理用ハーブで、スープやシチュー、マリネ、肉、魚料理などに用いられます。 シソ科イブキジャコウソウ属の常緑小低木で、学名は Thymus vulgaris cv.。英名は French thyme。 French thyme (Thymus vulgaris cv.) belongs to Lamiaceae (the Mint family). It is a selected variety of the common thyme that is native to the coastal areas of the Mediterranean Sea.
