ふさざきすいせん (房咲き水仙)

地中海沿岸が原産です。シルクロードを経由して広がり、西アジアから東アジアの各地に帰化しています。わが国の「すいせん（水仙）」の母種にあたります。高さは２０〜４０センチになり、平たい線形の葉が束生します。１２月から４月ごろ、花茎を伸ばして、茎頂に房状に花を咲かせます。副花冠は小さな杯状です。イギリス王立園芸協会（Royal Horticultural Society）の分類では、「タゼッタすいせん（タゼッタ水仙）」になります。 写真中７の品種は「クラッグフォード（cv. Cragford）」、 中８は「ゲラニウム（cv. Geranium）」。 |

ユリ科スイセン属の多年草で、学名は Narcissus tazetta var. tazetta。英名は Bunchflower daffodil、Tazetta narcissus、Tazetta daffodil。 |

The Bunchflower daffodil (Narcissus tazetta var. tazetta) belongs to Liliaceae (the Lily family). It is a perennial herb that is native to the coastal area of the Mediterranean Sea. This herb spreaded through the Silk Road, and naturalizes West Asia to East Asia. This is a host species of Chinese sacred lily. It can reach 20-40 cm in height, flat linear leaves are fascicled. Tufted flowers come on the tip of stalks from December to April. The corona is small cotyloid. This species is classified as "Tazetta narcissus"' by the Royal Horticultural Society.
