ふゆのはなわらび (冬の花蕨)

わが国の各地をはじめ、台湾や朝鮮半島、中国それにインドに分布しています。多年性のシダ植物で、夏の終わりごろに小さな葉を広げます。冬に小さな黄金色の胞子がついた胞子葉を伸ばします。生育期間は秋から春までで、夏は地上部が枯死して休眠します。茹でて灰汁であく抜きしたものは食用になります。また腹痛や下痢の漢方薬としても利用されるそうです。台湾華語では「大陰地蕨」、中国語では「陰地蕨（yin di jue）」と呼ばれます。 |

ハナヤスリ科ハナワラビ属のシダ植物で、学名は Botrychium ternatum。英名は Ternate grape fern。 |

The Ternate grape fern (Botrychium ternatum) belongs to the family Ophioglossaceae. It is a perennial pteridophyte and distributed to Japan, the Korean Peninsula, China and India. This fern bears small sterile fronds in late summer and fertile fronds with golden sori in winter. The terrestrials are blighted in summer and diapause. It is edible after boiling and removing harshness. It is also used as a herbal medecine for against abdominal pain or diarrhea. In Taiwanese Chinese, it is called "大陰地蕨" and in Chinese "陰地蕨" (yin di jue). |
