The bunny ears (Opuntia microdasys var. albispina) belongs to Cactaceae (the Cactus family). It is an evergreen perennial cactus that is native to central and northern Mexico, and a variety of Opuntia microdasys. This cactus forms a dense shrub about 60 cm tall. It has numerous white glochids in dense clusters. Yellow flowers come in occasionally.
