はまにがな (花苦菜) [Index] [Back] わが国の各地をはじめ、朝鮮半島や台湾、中国、ベトナム、それにカムチャッカ半島に分布しています。海岸の砂地に生え、高さは５〜１０センチになります。地下茎を長くのばしてふえます。葉は三角状心形で３〜５裂します。４月から１０月ごろ、直径２〜３センチで黄色い頭花を咲かせます。果実は、長さ６〜７ミリの痩果です。別名で「はまいちょう（浜銀杏）」、台湾華語では、「濱剪刀股」と呼ばれます。  キク科ニガナ属の多年草で、学名は Ixeris repens (syn. Chorisis repens)。英名はありません。  "Hama-nigana" (Ixeris repens) belongs to Asteraceae (the Aster family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed not only in various parts of Japan, but also in the Korean Peninsula, Taiwan, China, Vietnam, and the Kamchatka Peninsula. It grows on the sandy shores and can reach 5-10 cm in height. This plant grows with long rhizomes. The leaves are triangular cordate and split into 3-5 lobes. From April to October, It blooms yellow flower heads with a diameter of 2 to 3 cm. The fruits are achene 6-7 mm long.
