The Haworthia cooperi belongs to Liliaceae (the Lily family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is distributed across a wide area from Alexandria eastward to Umtata in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. It grows in shrublands, on rocky grassy slopes, or in flat grasslands, reaching a height of 5 to 13 cm. It has no stem, and its leaves grow in a rosette. The leaves are pale green with about six green longitudinal veins and serrated margins. At the tip, there is a translucent section, or window, about 15 mm long. From September to December, it produces long flower stalks and blooms with pinkish-white flowers in a corymb. The corolla is two-lipped and has greenish-brown veins.
