ヘリアンテムム [Index] [Back] 北半球、とくに地中海沿岸に広く分布しています。ヘリアンテムム属には約１１０種があり、そのなかのいくつかの種と、それらから派生した多くの交配品種や栽培品種は、観賞用植物として広く栽培されています。ふつう花弁は５個で、黄色やオレンジ色、ピンク色などの色調です。また栽培品種には、鮮やかなサーモンピンクから濃い赤色まで、幅広い色があります。写真の品種は、たぶん「ローダンセ・カルネウム（cv. Rhodanthe Carneum）」。  ハンニチバナ科ヘリアンテムム属の一年草や多年草、小低木で、学名は Helianthemum sp. (属の総称)。英名は Rock rose、Sunrose。  The Rock rose (Helianthemum sp.) belongs to Cistaceae (the Rockrose family). It is an annual or a perennial herb, a shrub that is widely distributed in the northern hemisphere, especially along the Mediterranean coast. There are about 110 species in the genus Helianthemum, of which several species and many hybrids derived from them are widely cultivated as ornamental plants. They usually have five petals and are yellow, orange or pink in color. Cultivars also come in a wide range of colors, from bright salmon pink to dark red.
