ヘリクトトリコン・プラテンセ [Index] [Back] ヨーロッパからアジアの温帯地方に分布しています。高山の草原に生え、茎は細くて直立し、高さは３０〜８０センチになります。葉は青緑色の線形で、幅１〜５ミリです。７月から８月ごろ、茎頂に穂状花序をだし、小さな花を咲かせます。  イネ科ミサヤマチャヒキ属の多年草で、学名は Helictotrichon pratense (syn. Helictochloa pratensis)。英名は Meadow oat grass。  The Meadow oat grass (Helictotrichon pratense) belongs to Poaceae (the Grass family). It is a pernnial herb that is distributed in Europe and the temperate regions of Asia. It grows in alpine meadows. The stems are thin and erect, 30-80 cm tall, and the leaves are blue-green and linear, 1-5 mm wide.
