ハイビスカス・ペドゥンクラーツス [Index] [Back] 南アフリカのケープ地方からモザンビークに分布しています。沿岸林などに生え、高さは１．８メートルほどになります。花は淡い赤紫色から淡いうす紫色で、直径が９センチほどあります。 アオイ科フヨウ属の多年草で、学名は Hibiscus pedunculatus。英名は Wild hibiscus。 The Wild hibiscus (Hibiscus pedunculatus) belongs to Malvaceae (the Mallow family). It is a perennial herb that is native from Cape province of South Africa to Mozambique. This herb grows in the coastal forests and can reach about 1.8 m in height.
