中国の中南部に分布しています。標高１３００〜４３００メートルの岩礫地に生え、高さは３０〜５０センチになります。細い地下茎を伸ばして広がります。葉は２〜３回３出複葉で、赤銅色を帯びた濃緑色です。３月から４月ごろ、枝先に総状花序をだし、距のある澄んだ淡青色の花を咲かせます。写真は、園芸品種の「チャイナブルー（cv. China Blue）」かも知れません。中国語では「穆坪紫菫（mu ping zi jin）」と呼ばれます。

ケマンソウ科キケマン属の多年草で、学名は Corydalis flexuosa。英名はありません。

The Corydalis flexuosa belongs to Papaveraceae (the Poppy family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed in central and southern China. This herb grows on rocky gravels at an altitude of 1300-4300 m and can reach a height of 30-50 cm. This plant spreads by stretching thin rhizomes. The leaves are biternate to triternate compound, and are dark green with a bronze color. The racemes are borne on the tips of the branches and bloom clear pale blue flowers with a spur from March to April. The photo may be the cultivar 'China Blue'. In Chinese, it is called "穆坪紫菫" (mu ping zi jin).
