"Hitotsuba-koumori-shida" (Thelypteris simplex) belongs to the family Thelypteridaceae. It is an evergreen fern that is distributed from the Nansei Islands of Japan to Taiwan and Southeast Asia. It grows in clusters on relatively dry forest floors. It is very similar to the "Koumori-shida", but it does not have lateral pinnae, and if it does, they are slightly lobed. In Taiwanese, it is called "單葉新月蕨".
