南アフリカ原産の「クラッスラ・エロスラ（Crassula erosula）」の園芸品種です。高さは２０〜３０センチですが、６０〜９０センチほどに広がります。多肉質の葉はプロペラ状で、夏には黄緑色ですが、寒くなると紅葉します。秋に長い花序をだして、小さな白い花を咲かせます。

ベンケイソウ科クラッスラ属の常緑多年草で、学名は Crassula erosula cv. Campfire。英名は Campfire crassula。

The campfire crassula (Crassula erosula cv. Campfire) belongs to Crassulaceae (the Orpine family). It is an evergreen herb that is a cultivar of Crassula erosula; native to South Africa. This herb grows up 20-30 cm in height and spreads 60-90 cm in width. The leaves are propeller-shaped, yellowish green in summer and turn red when it gets cold. The long clusters are borne and bloom small white flowers in fall.
