朝鮮半島の北西部が原産です。山地に生え、高さは１５〜３０センチになります。根茎によって広がります。葉は大きく心形で長い葉柄があり、秋には黄葉します。花は葉の展開前、早春から咲き始めます。花は小さく黄白色で星形、真ん中は緑色です。 |

ユキノシタ科イワヤツデ属の多年草で、学名は Mukdenia acanthifolia。英名はありません。 |

Mukdenia acanthifolia belongs to Saxifragaceae (the Saxifrage family). It is a perennial herb that is native to the northwestern Korean Peninsula. This herb grows in mountains and up to a height of 15-30 cm. It spreads by rhizomatous roots. The leaves are large, heart-shaped with long stalks, and turn yellow in fall. The flowers start to appear in early spring before the leaves. They are small, creamy-white, star-shaped with green eyes. |
