ホヤ・フンギイ

中国南部の広東省から江西省、雲南省それに海南島に分布しています。標高３００〜１０００メートルの明るい林内に生え、他の樹木などに着生します。蔓性で長さは２メートルほどになり、葉は革質で卵形から楕円形をしています。４月から９月ごろ、葉腋から散形状の花序を下垂させ、「さくららん（Hoya carnosa）」に似た白い花を咲かせます。中国名では「護耳草（hu er cao）」。 |

ガガイモ科サクララン属の常緑小低木で、学名は Hoya fungii。英名はありません。 |

The Hoya fungii belongs to Asclepiadaceae (the Milkweed family). It is an evergreen shrub that is found in Guangdong, Jiangxi, Yunnan, and Hainan Island in southern China. It grows in bright forests at altitudes of 300 to 1000 m and attaches itself to other trees. From April to September, white flowers similar to those of Hoya carnosa bloom from the leaf axils in drooping, radiate umbels. Its Chinese name is "護耳草" (hu er cao). |
