ブラジルのリオデジャネイロ州が原産です。蔓性でほかの樹木などに絡みつき、６〜９メートルの長さに伸びます。葉は３裂します。総状花序に、１０センチほどの花弁と萼片が濃紅色の花を咲かせます。 |

トケイソウ科トケイソウ属の常緑小低木で、学名は Passiflora racemosa。英名は Red passion flower。 |

The Red passion flower (Passiflora racemosa) belongs to Passifloraceae (the Passion flower family). It is an evergreen shrub that is native to the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is a vine that grows 6 to 9 m long, twining around other trees and plants. The leaves have three lobes. It produces dark red flowers with petals and sepals about 10 cm long in racemes. |
