ヨーロッパアルプスからピレネー山脈に分布しています。標高１０００〜２５００メートルの高地草原に生え、高さは２０〜８０センチになります。葉は奇数羽状複葉で、狭披針形の小葉が９〜１３個つきます。７月から８月ごろ、茎頂に総状花序をだし、小さな黄色い花を咲かせます。英名は、葉のかたちが「タンジー」に似ていることに因みます。

アブラナ科フグエニニア属の多年草で、学名は Hugueninia tanacetifolia。英名は Tansy-leaved rocket。

The Tansy-leaved rocket (Hugueninia tanacetifolia) belongs to Brassiaceae (the Mustard family). It is a perennial herb that is native to the Alps and the Pyrenees. This herb grows in upland meadows 1000-2500 m in height and can reach 20-80 cm in height. The leaves are odd-pinnate compound with 9-13 narrow-lanceolate lobes. The racemes are borne and the small yellow flowers bloom from July to August. The common name is derived from Tansy-like leaf-shape.
