ヒヨス [Index] [Back] ユーラシア大陸が原産です。いまでは、世界的に広く分布しています。高さは５０〜１００センチになります。全体に粘りけのある腺毛が生え、特有の臭いがあります。葉は卵状披針形から広卵形で浅裂し、互生します。夏、灰黄色のロート形の花を咲かせます。花冠の中央部には暗紫色の網目があります。全草が動物には有毒で、少量でも命取りになることがあります。  ナス科ヒヨス属の一・二年草で、学名は Hyoscyamus niger。英名は Henbane。  The henbane (Hyoscyamus niger) belongs to Solanaceae (the Nightshade family). It is an annual or biennial herb that is native to Eurasia, though it is now globally distributed. This herb can reach 50-100 cm in height. The leaves are ovate-lanceolate to broad ovate, lobed and arranged in alternate. The grayish-yellow, funnel-shaped flowers bloom in summer.
