メキシコ中部のケレタロ州とイダルゴ州に分布しています。砂礫地に生え、高さは２５センチほどになります。葉はふっくらして青みがかっています。春に花茎を伸ばして、赤いベル形の花を咲かせます。園芸上は「いなだひめ（稲田姫）」と呼ばれるそうです。

ベンケイソウ科パキフィツム属の常緑多年草で、学名は Pachyphytum glutinicaule。英名はありません。

The Pachyphytum glutinicaule belongs to Crassulaceae (the Orpine family). It is an evergreen herb that is distributed in central Mexico in the states of Queretaro and Hidalgo. It grows in sandy gravel and is about 25 cm tall. The leaves are plump and bluish. In spring, it grows a scape and produces red bell-shaped flowers. It is called "Inada-hime" in horticultural terms in Japan.
