パレニス・マリティマ [Index] [Back] 地中海の西部沿岸が原産です。海岸砂丘や崖、岩場などに生え、高さは４０センチ以上、直径は１メートルほどになります。葉は狭倒卵状さじ形で、疎らにあるいは密に絨毛に被われます。春から初夏にかけて、直径４センチ以上、細かな鋸歯のある舌状花をもつ、黄金色の頭花をいっぱい咲かせます。 キク科パレニス属の亜低木で、学名は Pallenis maritima。英名は Gold coin、Mediterranean beach daisy。 The gold coin (Pallenis maritima) belongs to Asteraceae (the Aster family). It is a subshrub that is native to the western Mediterranean region. This subshrub grows on sand dunes, cliffs, and rocky shores, and can reach up to 40 cm tall and about 1 m wide. The leaves are narrowly obovate-spathulate and sparsely to densely villous.
