The Paphiopedilum glaucophyllum var. moquetianum belongs to Orchdaceae (the Orchid family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is distributed in Java, Indonesia. It is a variety of Paphiopedilum glaucophyllum. It grows in the rainforests of mountainous areas and is a terranean plant. The leaves are linear-helical with a reticulate pattern and four to five in number. Throughout the year, it grows a flower stalk and produces flowers with yellow upper and lower sepals, white lateral petals with reddish-purple spots, and dark pink labellum. The lateral petals are twisted into a conch-like shape and stretched horizontally, which is characteristic of this flower.
