パフィオペディルム・ウェヌスツム [Index] [Back] インドからネパール、バングラデシュのヒマラヤ周辺が原産です。標高６０〜１３５０メートルの山麓に生える地生ランです。葉は濃緑色で淡い緑色の斑紋があります。冬に花茎を直立して伸ばし、直径８〜９センチの花をひとつだけ咲かせます。上萼片は白色で目立った緑色の縦縞があり、花弁は倒披針形で、黄緑色に赤褐色の斑点があります。唇弁は黄色がかったピンク色で、緑色の脈があります。 ラン科パフィオペディルム属の常緑多年草で、学名は Paphiopedilum venustum。英名はありません。 Paphiopedilum venustum belongs to Orchidaceae (the Orchid family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is native to around Himalaya, India to Nepal and Bangladesh. This herb is terrestrial and grows in piedmonts at 60-1350 m elevation. The leaves are dark green, oblong with light green mottles. The flower is borne singly on an erect spike and 8-9 cm across in winter.
