パフィオペディルム・ワルディイ [Index] [Back] ビルマ北部から中国南西部に分布しています。標高１２００〜１５００メートルの山地に生える地生ランです。葉は淡緑色で、濃緑色の斑紋が入り、裏面には赤紫色の斑点があります。花茎を伸ばして、直径１０センチほどの花をひとつだけ咲かせます。上萼片は白色で目立った緑色の縞が入り、花弁は幅広く、黄緑色で赤褐色の斑点があります。唇弁は黄色と赤褐色です。 ラン科パフィオペディルム属の常緑多年草で、学名は Paphiopedilum wardii。英名はありません。 The Paphiopedilum wardii belongs to Orchidaceae (the Orchid family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is native to northern Burma to southwest China. This herb is terrestrial and grows in the mountains at 1200-1500 m elevation. The leaves are light green mottled dark green, with reddish purple spotting on the undersides. The flower is borne singly on an erect spike and about 10 cm across.
