中央アメリカのグアテマラに分布しています。低地の丘陵から標高で１５００メートルくらいまでに生え、高さは２メートルほどになります。全体に無毛です。葉は２裂し、１〜３対の密腺があります。一年中、直径１センチほどの淡黄緑色の花を咲かせます。

トケイソウ科トケイソウ属の常緑小低木で、学名は Passiflora allantophylla。英名はありません。

|
The Passiflora allantophylla belongs to Passifloraceae (the Passion flower family). It is an evergreen shrub that is distributed in Guatemala, Central America. It grows from low hills to about 1500 m in elevation and grows to about 2 m tall. It is hairless throughout. The leaves have two lobes and one to three pairs of dense glands. It produces pale yellow-green flowers about 1 cm in diameter all year round.
