The Passiflora x allardii belongs to Passifloraceae (the Passion flower family). It is an evergreen shrub that is a horticultural variety created by crossing the "Passiflora quadrangularis" with the horticultural variety the "Passiflora caerulea 'Constance Eliott'". It was created by E. J. Allard at the University Botanic Garden in Cambridge. The vine does not grow excessively, and the leaves have three lobes. 9-10 cm in diameter, large, pale pink and white flowers bloom from April to November. The corona is blue-purple. The fruits are ovate, about 6 cm in diameter, and orange when ripe.
