中央アメリカのベリーズ南部が原産です。蔓性で大きくなります。葉はほとんど円形でわずかに３裂し、濃い緑色です。短日性で、冬に直径２．５センチほどの淡い緑白色の花を咲かせます。副花冠は紫褐色です。花には強い芳香があります。

トケイソウ科トケイソウ属の常緑小低木で、学名は Passiflora helleri。英名はありません。

The Passiflora helleri belongs to Passifloraceae (the Passion flower family). It is an evergreen shrub that is native to southern Belize in Central America. It is a large, spreading vine. The leaves are almost circular with three lobes and are dark green. It is short-day and produces pale greenish-white flowers about 2.5 cm in diameter in winter. The corona is purple-brown. The flowers have a strong fragrance.
