「とけいそう（Passiflora caerulea）」と「ほざきとけいそう（Passiflora racemosa）」との種間交雑種である「パッシフローラ・ウィオラケア」系の一園芸品種です。花冠は花弁と萼片からなり、どちらも強い紫色をしています。副花冠が、黒色と白色の糸状の小花冠を半分ずつ持つのが特徴です。ジョン・ヴァンダープランクによると、「パッシフローラ・ウィオラケア」系のなかの「フォーム１」に分類されます。

トケイソウ科トケイソウ属の常緑小低木で、学名は Passiflora cv. Lilac Lady (syn. Passiflora x violacea cv. Lilac Lady)。英名はありません。

The Passiflora 'Lilac Lady' belongs to Passifloraceae (the Passion flower family). It is an evergreen shrub that is a horticultural variety of the "Passiflora x violakea" family, which is an interspecific hybrid of the "Passion flower" (Passiflora caerulea) and the "Passiflora racemosa". The corolla is composed of petals and sepals, both of which are strong purple. The corona is characterized by half black and half white thread-like coronal filaments. According to John Vanderplank, it is classified as Form 1 in the "Passiflora x violacaea" family.
