クアドリファリア種（Passiflora quadrifaria）とウィティフォリア種（Passiflora vitifolia）との種間交雑種です。葉は長卵形で、縁には粗い鋸歯があります。花は直径１０〜１３センチで、一年中開花し、狭い花弁も萼片も赤橙色をしています。

トケイソウ科トケイソウ属の常緑小低木で、学名は Passiflora cv. Piresii。英名はありません。

The Passiflora 'Piresii' belongs to Passifloraceae (the Passion flower family). It is an evergreen shrub that is an interspecific hybrid between the "Passiflora quadrifaria" and the "Passiflora vitifolia". The leaves are long ovate with coarsely serrated edges. The flowers are 10-13 cm in diameter and bloom all year round. Both the narrow petals and sepals are reddish-orange in color.
